To further understand Corpus Callosum, my rendition of gestalt theory, how our brains are hardwired to create “simplicity” from “complexity”, was developed by my use of geometric shapes to represent the thought processes I use when I approach the sciences (left) and the arts (right). The left was more forward about the composition and directional choices because of the linear, step by step processes that are characteristic to the left hemisphere of the brain. For the right hemisphere, more freedom, emotion, and big picture principles suggested a more playful architecture to complete the set. Different as they may seem, the characteristics of each side were not entirely exclusive due to the details on arrangement within the individual panels and from the final positions they would have across one another.
